Executive Office of the Mayor's Justice Grants Administration (JGA) – (October 2012 – April 2013)At JGA, I was charged with the management and development of the Community-Based truancy (CBTR) Program. The CBTR is a service-driven program launched to prevent and reduce truancy amongst students with five or more unexcused absences.
Office of the Deputy Mayor for Public Safety and Justice (DMPSJ) – (May 2012 – September 2012) At DMPSJ, I served, and still serve, as the Co-Chair for the Juvenile Competency Task Group, which is charged with identifying issues and solutions surrounding public safety and successful reentry for juveniles deemed incompetent.
- DC Public Schools (DCPS) – (November 2011 – April 2012) At DCPS, I worked on developing the Office of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) by helping to create its mission, facilitating community partnerships, and executing the DC STEM Summit and the DC STEM Fair. I also managed a math intervention program across 18 DCPS middle schools with approximately 3,000 students.
