Kena Cofield - Jones has over 20 years of progressive HR experience that includes management, talent acquisition, business process re-engineering and training. Kena has served in various senior management positions within the public sector as a key HR advisor and strategic partner. She has lead charges for implementing change, organizational development and strategic planning. In addition, her experience includes developing training modules, facilitation, team building, problem solving and consulting. Ms. Cofield - Jones has also provided HR consulting services with several companies in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
Ms. Cofield - Jones is also an adjunct professor at Trinity University where she teaches undergraduate and graduate level courses in business and human resources. She has a bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Virginia State University and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Management, from the University of the District of Columbia (UDC). She is a member of the Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society in Business Administration, a 2013 graduate of George Washington University Certified Public Managers Program and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Additionally, she is earning her Ph.D. in Leadership and Change Management from Walden University.
