On March 30, 2020, Mayor Bowser issued Mayor’s Order 202-054, reaffirming that the District of Columbia government will do all it can to stop the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
As part of our commitment to a safe workplace, the Mayor mandated that by June 30, 2020, all District employees complete contact tracing training on the District’s eLearning Platform in PeopleSoft. This includes employees who may be managers or supervisors, those who are on telework, extended leave, or are otherwise difficult to reach. This training is comprised of two courses, The Basics of the Coronavirus and The Basics of Contact Tracing, and is designed to equip employees with a basic understanding of contact tracing.
A select group of employees will be required to take two additional training modules entitled Effective Communication and Interviews and Case Monitoring and Resources. These employees will be notified in a separate correspondence.
To assist employees in completing the mandatory training, read the step-by-step guide.
For those employees who do not have the means to access the training course online, DCHR has made the appropriate arrangements for call-in instruction. The WebEx sessions will occur weekly and will be made available via registration in PeopleSoft.
