The Mayor’s Mentoring Circles Program pairs cabinet-level executives with a group of high potential managers to provide the mentoring and networking necessary to further develop high potential leaders across the District of Columbia Government. Participants will receive mentoring from established leaders in District Government and be equipped to develop authentic leadership, inspire innovation, build relationships and lead under pressure.
Please note: Applicants must be between grades MS12- MS15, and submit a program application, along with a letter of endorsement from their current Agency Director.
We are extending the deadline until May 6th to allow interested parties to obtain their endorsements from their respective Agency Directors. Apply Online

SkillPort is here!
The Skillport site is now accessible. Employees should have received a welcome email (subject line: Your SkillPort Learning Credentials) with their username and unique password. The system will prompt employees to change their password once they log into the site.
We encourage employees to use the Skillport link provided in the e-mail to access the site. We recommended “typing in” rather than “copying and pasting” the password.
The following directions are for those employees who have not received or are unable to access their welcome e-mail. On the Skillport login page:
• Log in using “firstname.lastname”
• Click on “Forgot Password”
• Respond to the security question
• Click on “Send me a new password”
• Enter user ID and new system-generated password
Visit dchr.skillport.com for access to thousands of quick, interative learning resources.
