The District government strives to create a work environment where all employees feel supported and safe. Unfortunately, domestic violence, sexual offenses, and stalking may affect the workplace. Through this issuance, the District government is providing comprehensive guidance to help its agencies and employees address the challenges District employees impacted by domestic violence, sexual offenses, and stalking (collectively, DVSOS) may face at work and improve employer response to such violence and its effects on employees.
In collaboration with the District of Columbia, Office of Victim Services and Justice Grants these resources aim to create awareness and navigation tools for victims and survivors of domestic violence.
