On September 12, 2023, the Anacostia Neighborhood Library will be hosting the Stop, Shop, N Go Job Fair. The goal of Stop, Shop, N Go is to bring career opportunities to Ward 8 District residents as well as residents of surrounding communities. Stop, Shop, N Go is the concluding event to a series of resume writing workshops facilitated by, HR specialist, April Robinson. During these workshops, participants polished their resumes and gained new skills in interviewing and resume writing. For this event, the Anacostia Neighborhood Library will be partnering with the Department of Employment Services, the Department of Human Resources, and the Department of Human Services. By the end of the event, the goal is to have on the spot interviews and hiring opportunities for qualified participants.
